Start of port placement planning
1- A model from annotated data will be used.
1A- To define what needs to be annotated and which images will be used.
1B- For the moment, the images/models from Telecom Paris (TP) will be used for optimisation of port placement.
2- To check the gestational age of the images from TP.
3- To check if TP has twins and if we have twins.
4- Criteria for port placement in TTTS: Ensure reaching the equator and having a good angle.

Problems with data
1- Models from Telecom Paris include weeks 8-13 and 26-35 which is not suitable for our needs. We can use the model from 26 weeks only.
2- The models do not contain the placenta.
3- UCLH does not image the placenta from MRI. This is a problem for surgical planning and for validation of Guotai’s method. Alternative plans are:
3A- Contact Michael to see if he can get us some data.
3B- Obtain a model from jpeg files that we have in the server.
3C- Check for online data from B. Kainz and LONI.

July 21/2015
1- Problems with data: Data from B. Kainz and LONI is not useful.
1A- Ask Roz to check if there are some twins in UCLH data. Potential problem -> No placenta.
2- Due to the lack of data for port placement, we will work on something different.
3- New idea: Automated orientation of the brain in US images.
3A – To check papers from A. Noble, I. Bloch + Elsa Angelini and papers sent by Tom.
4- For Guotai’s paper submission: Validate the code in Windows, Linux and Mac. For the moment, Windows version will be tested on Gergely/Rachel’s PC.
